Production area: Hilly soil located at about 200 metres above sea-level

Soil composition: Good calcareous structure associated to clayey fractions

Productivity in grape: Vertical shoot positioning The pruning system is Guyot

Productivity in wine: Nearly 85 q/ha

Resa in vino: Nearly 55 hl/ha

Harvest time: l5 September - 30th September

Wine-making: Harvested by hand, the grapes come in the wine cellar, where they are deprived of the grape-stalks and crushed. The fermentation with the peels lasts 8/10 days at the temperarure of 25/28°C. The malo-lactic fermentation naturally occurs in autumn or in the spring following the harvest.

Refinement: The evolution prevalently takes place in steel tanks and, in a small part, in half-new barriques for about 6 months. It is bottled by very light clarification and wide filtration received.

Organoleptical characteristics: Intense and very clear red ruby colour. Good aromatic intensity with jam and geranium scents. Dry and pleasantly sapid, it has got warm and vivacious structure in which delicate acidity and softness of tannins are perceived. Average gustative persistence with fruity and floral notes. Fresh and clear finish. It withstands well 2 or 3 years, in particular years even more.
