Vino Mamaioa rosso - Cantina Contini

Altitude - Up to 200 metres above sea level 

Climate - Mediterranean with mild winters, limited rainfall and very hot and windy summers 

Characteristics of the soil - Partly sandy, slightly clayey, partly of volcanic origin

Vine training system - VSP trellised (spurred cordon and guyot)

Grape yield per hectare - 9.000 kg

Winemaking - Pressing, fermentation with maceration of the skins for 7 days, maturation in epoxidized cement vats and steel tanks

Ageing - Best enjoyed young; we are not familiar with its evolution over time. Today it is a young, exuberant and pleasant wine; together we will monitor it closely to define its characteristics as it ages … an interesting challenge

Colour - Currently ruby red with violet hues

Bouquet - Fragrant, vinous, predominantly of red fruits

Flavour -  Smooth, with the right amount of tannins
