Riso della Sardegna operates within an area of over 3,300 hectares dedicated to rice production. Since it’s near the sea, and with its sunny, windy climate, many varieties of high quality rice are produced in the area of Oristano.
The traditional stone milling process, combined with the skillful art of rice husking in mortars, which has been handed down for generations, allows to obtain an excellent quality rice that satisfies the most difficult of culinary needs.
