After years of attempts and experiments with more than forty aromatic herbs found in an area which goes from the Gennargentu Mountains to Sardinia’s east coast, looking for the right balance of bitter, balsamic, spicy and citrus flavours, Bresca Dorada has created this digestive liqueur with an infusion of myrtle berries that enhances the herbaceous flavours.
Bresca Dorada in the Sardinian language means golden honeycomb but also something small and very precious, such as honey was for Sardinian peasants.
This name encloses within itself the history of an enterprise born out of therespect and love for nature, tradition and quality, which prompted its founding partners, Enrico Diana and Paolo Melis, to establish their activity at Monte Liuru, in the Muravera countryside, approximately 50 km from Cagliari, an almost inaccessible area at that time.
